This is a collaborative project between myself and Soonho Kwon, a photographer and design major from Carnegie Mellon University. The theme of the assignment was portraits. Due to the experimental nature of the course, and the photography interests we both have, we designed his interpretation of the assignment to be a blending of current day me with portraits from my childhood.
We created these images by having me pose as close as I could to match the person I would be replacing (unfortunately quite often, my sister) or scene I would be placed in. We took note of angles of light and other factors. He then Photoshopped me in to them, matching the styles, color tone, grain and blur as closely as he could.
You can view my interpretation of this portrait assignment here.
